The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

— Theft by taking

A man reported the theft of fishing equipment from beneath his carport at his Third Street home sometime Tuesday evening. The theft included several rods and reels and a tackle box.

— Theft by taking

A man reported the theft of several items from his storage shed while he was out of town. The man reported the theft of a saw, hedge trimmer and chainsaw from the building sometime last week.

— Burglary

A man reported a break-in at his Thomas Street home Monday and the theft of stereo speakers, a DVD player, a bass speaker, a 12-inch speaker, red and black Air Jordan tennis shoes and multiple CDs and DVDs.

— Burglary

A woman reported that as she was moving from her North Columbia Street residence pending an eviction, someone broke in and took a 42-inch flat screen television.

— Burglary

A woman reported a break-in at her home on Youngblood Road and the theft of her television sometime Tuesday night.

— Theft by taking

A man reported that as he was about to depart on his vacation he noticed that his 9 mm semi-automatic pistol was missing from his night-stand drawer. The pistol went missing sometime within the past three weeks.
