The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Milledgeville Police Department

— Entering an auto

Someone reported that while a woman was inside a South Wayne Street grocery store, her son reported that a man attempted to enter their 2001 Chevy Tahoe several times until the woman returned to the vehicle Tuesday afternoon.

— Fraud

A woman reported that someone fraudulently used her debit card information to make two unauthorized prepaid cell phone purchases in the amount of $50 each.

— Forgery

A pharmacy store manager reported to police that someone was attempting to call in multiple prescriptions for Lortab for a customer. The manager found the customer had done the same thing at another pharmacy and called police Thursday around 3 p.m.

— Burglary

A man reported that someone took five X-Box games from his home on Pearl Drive around 2 p.m. Thursday.

— Shoplifting

Someone reported the shoplifting theft at a clothing store at the Milledgeville Mall Wednesday around 4 p.m. The shoplifter entered a dressing room with a hat and a tan polo jacket. She exited the dressing room with only the hat and a bag that was stuffed. The manager found the bar-code and ink tag in the dressing room upon investigation. The jacket is valued at $120.

— Shoplifting

Someone also reported the theft of a $1 pair of panties from another store at the Milledgeville Mall Wednesday around 4 p.m. The same suspect is wanted for another shoplifting theft at the mall.

— Larceny from auto

A man reported that just after he returned home from work Wednesday around 6:30 his car was broken into. Nothing appeared to have been taken.

— Disorderly conduct

A man was arrested Wednesday around 11:15 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct after police observed him allegedly urinating in public on South Wayne Street.

— Disorderly conduct

As a man was being arrested for an alleged public urination incident, a man across the street began yelling and using profanities while the subject was being placed under arrest. The subject across the street was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct Wednesday around 11:20 p.m.
