Milledgeville Police Department
— Theft auto
Someone reported the theft of a work truck from a gated area of Walter B. Williams Recreation Park Friday between 1 and 3 p.m. An employee left the park inside the gate around 1 p.m. with the keys in the ignition and when he returned from working in the area, the truck was gone.
— Burglary
A woman reported a break-in at her North Columbia Street apartment and the theft of a TV, Sony Playstation 2, Guitar Hero game with guitar, cross country bike and a bottle of wine sometime between Saturday and Monday.
— Burglary
A woman reported a break-in at her West Thomas Street home Monday morning and the theft of a TV, Nintendo 64 with controllers and games as well as an XBox gaming system with controllers.
— Theft by taking
A woman reported a man attempted to leave a video rental store on North Columbia Street Monday around 1:30 p.m. An employee reported that NBA 10 and Godfather II Playstation games were stolen. The employee also identified a suspect in the theft.
