MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

— Disorderly Conduct

A restaurant owner of a Roberson Mill Road establishment reported that a male and a female were involved in a verbal altercation in the parking lot around 7:45 p.m. Oct. 26. When the couple was asked to leave, the female became belligerent with the owner.   

— Gas Drive Off

A woman reported that a man pumped $45.15 in gas and left a North Columbia Street gas station without paying around 5:52 a.m. Oct. 26.

— Theft by Taking

The owner of a Christmas Tree Lane property reported that someone had taken 12 brass caps from his fence post sometime between 6:06 and 6:16 p.m.

— Marijuana Possession

Deputies arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant at a Azalea Circle address around 8:30 p.m. Oct. 27. The man was found to be in possession of marijuana and was charged with possession of less than one ounce.

— Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart Loss Prevention employee reported a man left the store without paying for a 32-inch Plasma TV Oct. 26 around 7:19 p.m.

— Theft by Taking

A woman reported that her son stole her cell phone after a verbal altercation between the two at their Stuart Circle home around 10 p.m. Oct. 23. The juvenile was found a mile from the home by officers.
