MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of Nyquil Liquid Cold medicine and a three-pack of 5 Hour Energy drinks by a man around 4:52 p.m. Dec. 21. The man was seen placing the items in the pockets of his jacket in the restroom of Walmart.     

Criminal Damage to Property

A man reported that an unknown person cut the tires of his U-haul vehicle while he was attempting to move in at his Lewis Court address sometime after Dec. 22.

Burglary

A woman reported a break-in at her South Elbert Street address sometime between Dec. 21 and Dec. 23. She returned home from shopping and noticed that her son's bike and iPad mini was missing from the residence.
