The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Financial Transaction Card Fraud

A woman reported the theft of more than $1,000 from an employee from a company credit card owned by a North Columbia Street business. Transactions were made between Oct. 22 and Nov. 12. 

 Burglary

A woman reported that someone broke into the field house of Baldwin High School and stole several cases of Powerade Nov. 9.  

Theft by Taking

A woman reported the theft of her lawn chair from her South Wilkinson Street apartment approximately 8:35 p.m. Nov. 11. 

Shoplifting

A  Walmart Loss Prevention employee reported that a juvenile female concealed merchandise in her purse and attempted to leave the store without paying sometime around 4:52 p.m. Nov. 9. 

Theft by Taking

A man reported the theft of his bicycle from his Irwin Street address sometime before 11:30 a.m. Nov. 12. When leaving the apartment to go to class, he noticed that the bicycle was missing from the property.

Possession of Cocaine

At approximately 2:40 a.m. Nov. 13, officers responded to an anonymous call of heavy traffic and suspicious activity at a West Walton address. Upon arrival to the home, officers found several sandwich bags of cocaine.
