MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Milledgeville Police Department

— DUI

A man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop for driving with no headlights on West Thomas Street around 1 a.m. Oct. 2.

— False Report of a Crime

An anonymous caller reported a break-in at a Sherry Circle apartment complex around 6:15 p.m. Oct. 2. The man had been locked out of his apartment and broke the outer window pane to his rear glass door with a large brick.

— Theft by Taking

A woman reported the theft of her wallet while she was at a movie dispenser on North Columbia Street around 5 p.m. Oct. 1.
