MILLEDGEVILLE —  

The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Taking

A man reported the theft of a battery and vehicle tag from a car parked at a North Jefferson Street address sometime before Nov. 2.

Burglary

A man reported a break-in at his North Wilkinson Street address around 11:09 p.m. Nov. 4. A 32-inch flat screen TV, an Xbox game console, and a Toshiba laptop computer were reported missing from the residence.

Criminal Damage to Property 

A woman reported that while sitting in her car at Barrow's Ferry Road business Nov. 7 another car parked beside her and hit the side of her vehicle with the car door. When she attempted to speak with the driver of the vehicle the driver yelled out vulgarities and drove off. 

Theft by Shoplifting

A store clerk at a North Jefferson street convenience store reported the theft of five packs of snack size Doritos, a liter of Pepsi, and a Snickers candy bar by a juvenile around 5:47 p.m. Nov. 7.
