MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

Damage to Property

A woman reported that her car was damaged by road debris from a motor grader around 9 a.m. Nov. 23. The motor grader was in the process of scraping the roadway when it moved over to allow the woman to pass. When passing the grader, a large pile of dirt came in contact with her vehicle, causing damage.

Damage to Property

A woman reported that a man kicked the passenger side of her vehicle Nov. 25. She received a text message from a neighbor who witnessed the man causing damaging to the car.

Theft by Shoplifting

Two men and a juvenile were arrested for the theft of male enhancement pills from a pharmacy on North Columbia Street around 11 a.m. Nov. 25.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported the theft of money, a stun gun and a cell phone from her Bell Avenue address sometime after Nov. 22.

Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of pictures by a female around 5:08 p.m. Nov. 17. The woman was seen creating the pictures at the Walmart photo center but she placed them in her purse and attempted to exit the store without payment for the service.

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of four oil lanterns by a juvenile at approximately 3:14 p.m. Nov. 19.

Theft of Services

A manager at a Garrett Way restaurant reported that a male and female left the establishment without paying for their meal around 2:22 p.m. Nov. 19. The amount of the meal totaled $46.28.

Theft by Taking

A woman reported that someone had taken the car battery out of her vehicle when it was parked at a North Elbert Street lot sometime before Nov. 20.
