MILLEDGEVILLE — Criminal Damage to Property

A woman reported damage to her vehicle by an unknown person sometime before March 6. The female noticed several scratches by an unknown object on her car in the morning when leaving for work. The scratches are visible on both sides of the car, trunk lid and the hood.

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of weight loss pills and a bottle of cologne by a male on March 6. The man was seen placing the stolen items in his pocket and attempting to exit the store.

Theft by Taking

An employee of a North Columbia Street car dealership reported the theft of gas from several vehicles in the sales lot. On March 11, the employee performed a routine check of the vehicles before leaving and found the gas caps were unscrewed on five vehicles and approximately 30 gallons of gas was missing from the cars in total.

Theft by Taking

A man reported the theft of his wallet during a hospital stay March 14. He informed officers that he had his wallet when he checked in at approximately 3 p.m. When he returned, his wallet was missing.

Theft by Shoplifting

A Walmart loss prevention employee reported the theft of 12 DVDs and miscellaneous items by a male March 13. A co-worker witnessed the man taking several items and concealing them in his clothes.

Damage to Property

An clerk at a East Hancock Street convenience store reported damage to a gas pump by a male around 4:08 p.m. March 13. The man forgot he had the pump in his car when he tried to drive away. The hose of the pump broke at the break away point.
