MILLEDGEVILLE — The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.



Milledgeville Police Department

— Theft by Taking

A woman reported that someone entered her River Ridge Road home and took her daughter’s large-sized scooter, a gas grill and stereo equipment sometime between 6 and 9 p.m. Oct. 20.

— Gas Drive-Off

A woman reported that a man pumped $20 worth of gasoline and left a North Columbia Street gas station without paying around 1:25 a.m. Oct. 19.

— Theft by Taking

A woman reported her daughter’s bicycle was stolen from the yard of her Horace Veal Road home sometime between 8 p.m. Oct. 19 and 11:45 p.m. Oct. 21.
