MILLEDGEVILLE —  

The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. It is our policy to not disclose the names of victims. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.

Milledgeville Police Department

Theft by Shoplifting

Two females, one 17-year-old and one juvenile, attempted stealing a pregnancy test from Walmart Oct. 11. The 17-year-old was charged with theft by shoplifting.

Baldwin County Sheriff's Department

Entering Auto

A man at a Ramsey Street residence reported that an unknown person entered his Chevrolet van sometime between Oct. 8 and Oct. 12. He reported a 23-inch Sony color TV, a Sony CD player, and a large van battery missing from the vehicle. 

Theft by Taking

A woman reported the theft of a large trash bag of children's clothes from her Harrisburg Road address sometime before 12 a.m. Oct. 12.  

Driving on a Suspended License

A man was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license following a traffic stop for running a stop sign on Mitchell Street around 11 p.m. Oct. 12. 

Underage Possession of Alcohol

Five people were arrested for charges including disorderly conduct, disorderly house and obstruction of officers. Citations were issued for underage possession of alcohol following a party at a Highway 49 apartment complex around 1:10 a.m. Oct. 13.
