Milledgeville Police Department
DUI
A woman reported that a man showed up at her home and knocked continuously on the back door of her Matheson Road home around 11:44 p.m. Jan. 13. Officers responding to a call of trespassing discovered the man passed out in the woman's backyard. He was arrested and charged with driving under the influence.
Theft by Taking
A woman reported the theft of her storage bin from her Stembridge Road residence sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 8:20 p.m. Jan. 13.
Public Nuisance Animal
A man was cited after two of his dogs were discovered damaging property on a neighbor's porch on Corral Road around 8:40 p.m. Jan. 9.
Theft by Shoplifting
A clerk at a North Jefferson Street liquor store reported the theft of a pack of Coors beer by a man around 8:36 p.m. Jan. 12. The man walked around the store for a long period of time, pretending to talk on his cell phone. When the store became crowded, he was seen picking up the 12-pack of beer and running out of the door.
