The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. — Theft by taking
A woman reported July 3 that someone took $200 from her wheelchair, and she believes it was her live-in boyfriend who took the money. The boyfriend had left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival.
— Damage to property
A man reported June 30 that someone placed three dead fish in the front yard of his home located in the 100 block of Admiralty Way. The man said the fish were placed on an old car in the yard, in his front flower bed, and on his front door step. The man could not provide any possible suspects and filed a report for documentation purposes.
Milledgeville Police Department
— Burglary
A woman reported July 11 that while she was sleeping at her home, located in the 400 block of Pritchard Street, someone entered her residence and stole her handbag off the living room table. The woman said that her son was awake in the house and he heard the front screen door shut while he was coming up the hallway and further saw a black male with dark clothes and a black hat leaving the front door area. The complainant said she locks the doors before she lies down after working the night shift, and her son came and woke her up after he saw the offender leaving the front door area.
