The following is information compiled from public records taken from reports of the Milledgeville Police Department and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. These reports do not reflect guilt or innocence. An “arrest” does not always indicate incarceration. The charges filed are noted in the narrative.
Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office
— Burglary
A female reported that sometime between June 25 and 26 an unknown person entered her residence, in the 100 block of Daisy Trail, and went through several of her dresser drawers and threw items throughout the residence. The woman said her grandson was at the residence on June 25 and a deputy could not locate a point of entrance because several doors were open. It appeared as though someone had slept in a bed at the residence and attempted to clean up a spill. Upon speaking with the female’s grandson, he told a deputy that he left at 9 p.m. and locked all the doors and windows in the house.
— Theft by taking
A man reported that he was renting a residence in the 100 block of South Main Street to another man and that the tenant had fallen behind on his rent. Due to the man’s lack of payment on rent, the landlord evicted the tenant from the property and the man was told to vacate the residence on June 22. On June 26, the landlord checked the residence and found that the refrigerator and two window air conditioning units were missing from the residence. The landlord also advised that the former tenant left the residence in general disarray.
— Theft by taking
A man reported that someone had entered his residence, in the 2500 block of Belfair Drive, without his permission and removed several items. The man said that he allowed a couple to reside at the location for the last few months, but recently asked them to leave. Both parties left the residence on June 22 but never returned the house key. On June 27, the complainant left the residence and returned on June 28 to find that several items, including a $70 crock pot, a $30 hot plate, a pot and pan and several canned good items from the pantry valued at $100 had been removed from the residence. The complainant advised that he believed both suspects were currently living at the Royal Inn Motel, but the deputy went to the motel and the desk clerk advised him that neither of the suspects had rented a room at the motel last week.

An officer was dispatched to 510 North Clark Street May 27 in reference to a physical altercation with a knife. The complainant and the victim were found at the intersection of North Clark Street and West Hall Street and while the officer was talking to them, he could tell they were heavily intoxicated. The victim stated that he was on his front porch when the offender came up and started a verbal altercation with him. The victim further said that the offender and the complainant started arguing about a sexual relationship that the victim and the offender were in, and the offender took out a knife and attempted to cut the complainant, but instead grazed the victim. — Disorderly conduct
An officer arrived at the Huddle House, in the 200 block of Roberson Mill Road, at about 2:45 a.m. June 27 in reference to a possible fight in progress. Upon arrival at the scene, the complainant said that someone had broken the glass door that separated the Huddle House and the Jet Food Store and went on to say that the parties involved were sitting in a 2001 Ford Expedition parked by the gas pumps of the Jet Food Store. When the officer made contact with the driver and five other passengers, all of the passengers said that no fight had occurred and that they were not responsible for any damage that occurred inside of the Huddle House. Employees of the Huddle House told the officer that the group of subjects in the vehicle were responsible for the disturbance inside of the Huddle House, but they could not be sure as to whom caused the damage to the glass door. The complainant then allowed the officer to review the video footage of the incident, but the video footage did not show who was the cause of the damage. However, the video footage did show that the driver of the vehicle in question, a young female, and a passenger, a young male, as the last subjects near the glass door before it was broken by an unknown object.
