MILLEDGEVILLE — Yummo Yogo is serving up various flavors of frozen yogurt with more than 30 toppings to choose from. Based on the weight of a customer’s customized dessert, the shop charges 45 cents per ounce.
Eight different flavors are in the self-serve frozen yogurt dispensers, currently including the seasonal pumpkin flavor along with cake batter, red velvet, vanilla, Dutch chocolate, strawberry, cheesecake and Hawaiian pineapple. Yummo Yogo also offers healthy alternatives to dessert with hot coffee, bagels and $3 smoothies.
The yogurt shop is one of the few business ventures located in the new health and wellness complex next to Rivers Edge on Blandy Way, along with Fitness Plus Health Club, Sport Fit and Lake Country Gymnastics.
A 10 percent discount is available to every first-time customer and for every purchase of a $15 Yummo Yogo T-shirt. After visiting the yogurt shop, Facebook and Twitter users can post a photo of their customized dessert onto the site for a chance to receive $5 off as part of the “Yogurt of the Week” contest.
The frozen treat shop is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
