Dixie Leathers adds lace and style to Milledgeville

MILLEDGEVILLE —

Owners Wayne and Gail Hickman of Dixie Leathers and Lace have added women's formal wear and formal event services to their inventory, adding elegance and style to any occasion.

From wedding gowns to catering, Dixie Leathers and Lace's expanded inventory takes care of every formal occasion need. The store offers formal wear for weddings, parties, church events, funerals, as well as catering, cakes and gift baskets. All women's clothing is available in sizes 0 to 32.

Dixie Leathers and Lace understands that formal occasions do not come together without putting forth a lot of effort and a lot of money. To help with the financial strain, the store also provides rental services.

“Don't pay big money for a wedding dress you’re going to wear just once. Just rent from us,” said Hickman.

Rentals are as low as $25. If the store does not carry the dress the bride-to-be has in mind, simply bring in a picture and the Hickmans will do all they can to find it at a reasonable price. New inventory of dresses and gowns come in each week, varying in style, colors and sizes.

With the holiday season fast approaching, gift purchasing along with gift wrapping is a task that's on everyone's list. Dixie Leathers and Lace can assist by offering gift-wrapping services.

“We wrap gifts for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries or any occasion,” Hickman said.

Bring in gifts that have been purchased from anywhere and request specialty wrapping within the store.

A high percentage of the Hickmans' business comes from repeat customers and referrals.

“Our company is based on the belief that our customers' needs are of the utmost importance. All of our items are 100 percent guaranteed. There are no hidden fees.”

Store hours are Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The store closes on Sundays and Mondays.

“We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and deliver you the best service in the industry,” Hickman said.
