Doodle's Cupcake Bakery a little slice of whipped heaven

MILLEDGEVILLE — Move over ice cream and yogurt, there's a new sweet in town. Doodle's Cupcake Bakery opened officially Jan. 7 and the little shop has been delighting customers with little cakes and whipped topping ever since. Keith Grant, owner of Doodle's Cupcake Bakery, hasn't had much of a chance to advertise, but through Facebook and word of mouth she has been overwhelmed with the response to the shop.

Right now the bakery is only open on Tuesdays from noon until 6 p.m. Doodle's is something Grant started on the side as a hobby, just for fun. The response has been so positive that Grant will decide in the next few months if the shop will increase its days and hours of operation.

Doodle's is located at 140 N. Jefferson St. and can be reached at (478) 288-0854. For bulk orders or private parties, call at least 72 hours in advance for ideas and preparation.
