MILLEDGEVILLE —
Coni Adams-Moore combined her passion for children and fitness in July 1992 and created Elite Gym for area youth between the ages 2 and 18.
The facility began offering gymnastics and dance for youth, but has since added cheerleading, karate and a fitness after school program and summer program called Fit Kids. Birthday parties can also be held for children between 2 and 10 years old.
A fun-filled family day will be hosted by Elite Gym during Buzzy’s Fun Run for Kids, scheduled at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 14, for children between the ages 4 and 12. Participants can take part in a 200 yard dash, a 400 yard dash, a one mile fun run, and a 3K parent-child run. Each participant will receive a medal and T-shirt while enjoying inflatables, face painting and special guests.
Elite Gym is open from noon to 8 p.m. during the school week, from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on school holidays and in the summer, and on Saturday’s for birthday parties.
