Games Bazaar reintroduces old school video game market

MILLEDGEVILLE — Milledgeville finally has a place to buy, trade and sell old video game systems. Games Bazaar welcomes vintage Sega Genesis or Sony Playstation consoles.

Owner Will Moore graduated from Baldwin High School in 1994 before entering the U.S. Navy. He found his electronic niche.

After working at AT&T for 12 years, he started a computer franchise called Nerd We Can Fix That. The company troubleshoots any computer hardware or software need.

The computer repair company services are folded into Games Bazaar.

The staff also fixes the older consoles. CDs and DVDs that are scratched and don't work get fixed less expensively at Games Bazaar also.

Moore said he buys a good bit of vintage game systems to use as repair parts for customers.

Retro Duo Game Systems that play Nintendo and Super Nintendo games are a hot item at the new store. Games Bazaar stocks movies as well.

Many people enjoy gaming on the stuff out when they were young. Finding quality versions of vintage consoles and games is hit or miss.

Having a Milledgeville location with experts helps.

Games Bazaar also stocks new titles and consoles. There is hardly any mark up on the new games, according to Moore.

Games Bazaar is located on 2485 N. Columbia St. #104. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Call (478) 288-5017 for more information.
