Central Georgia Battery offers same great service under different name

MILLEDGEVILLE —

Central Georgia Battery will undergo a name change at the end of the month and become Battery Warehouse.

Central Georgia Battery, also known as Calhoun Battery Inc., has been providing automotive and commercial batteries throughout the central Georgia area for more than 47 years, but after Oct. 1 the company will be referred to as Battery Warehouse.

Central Georgia Battery is linked to Battery Warehouse in Augusta. Last October, the company opened a second warehouse in Augusta in order to better serve the Augusta and Aiken, S.C. regions. The growth of business in Augusta facilitated the name change.

Over the past 12 months Battery Warehouse of Augusta has seen growth in both wholesale and retail markets, and the Milledgeville service area is no exception. Although the business is going through a few transitions, the devotion toward offering excellent products and service will not change.

Central Georgia Battery is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m to noon Saturday. For more information, call (478) 453-9335 or visit the company's new website at www.batterywarehouse.com.
