Police still searching for Alonzo Roberson

Authorities looking for murder suspect

MILLEDGEVILLE — Detectives with the Milledgeville Police Department have issued a warrant for the arrest of Alonzo Roberson. Roberson has been identified as a suspect in a homicide on Pennington Road.

According to Capt. Dray Swicord of the Milledgeville Police Department, a 25-year-old woman was found deceased at a home located at 130 Pennington Road at approximately 3:05 p.m. today.

The deceased, Jaquanna L. Freeman, was found dead at the home, as a result of a gunshot wound, after her sister called the Milledgeville Police Department inquiring about Freeman's children.

Detectives made several calls to the woman's phone, with no avail, and after finding the front screen door locked, authorities went around back and found the woman deceased inside of the home.

Detectives with the Milledgeville Police Department are searching for Roberson in the case, which is believed to be domestic violence related.

Roberson was last seen driving a 1999 Nissan Pathfinder, gray in color, with a license plate of BWC 6631.
