Oak Hill makes AYP

Oak Hill Middle School held a grand celebration Thursday in recognition for making Adequate Yearly Progress for two consecutive years. The party included entertainment provided by staff members, food catered by Linda’s Catering Services and more than 150 door prizes generously donated from local businesses. Eighth grade Assistant Principal Charlene Thorpe credited the faculty’s and staff’s hard work as a cohesive team with the school AYP achievement. Oak Hill officials said they aim to continue to work hard to hopefully become a school of distinction in the near future.
